Sunday feb 24th, was the Daytona 500. Danica Patrick had the pole and finished 8th, the first woman to finish in the top ten!!!! Our drivers #5 kasey kahne and #18 Kyle Busch didn't do so well!!! Montgomery and I spend the day in the walhalla/ fountain area. For dinner we had fried steak, it was delicious, and cooked by an amazing person!!! We had a super great day/ night, even if Montgomery wouldn't take a nap ( silly boy) and was crabby by 730pm! He fell asleep before I was even out of the driveway!!!
Montgomery and I had a great day!!! Woke up, got his gifts!!! No candy for the baby!! I saw tons of 1st onesies, but Montgomery is too cool for those. This mama put baby to bed, had a couple glasses of wine and my candy box from my beautiful son. I also got a "Hershey" kiss from a friend :) over all a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!
Montgomery's 2nd tooth appeared on 1/30/13. At Almost 10 months old, he finally got his 2nd bottom. So now he has both bottom, and waiting for top one's to appear. His amber teething bracelet, seems to be working!!
Thursday, I worked till 4:30Pm, and the roads were slushy, wet, snow covered and slippery. I ran to Walmart, missed the drive, had to turn at light. Then went to pick up little man om daycare, missed the road, had to turn a next road. We made it home safe and sound, but I knew from hearing from everyone, tv and radio, the snow wasnt going to stop. Friday am, I wake up, and there is literally another foot of fresh snow. Ugh! shoved my porch, a path to my car, shoveled the driveway, so we could get out! And the roads were fine, plowed, except for the back roads! But the SUN was out, and I thought what. Beautiful day that God and mother nature have brought us! I captured a few photos, on my cell of the snow, the beautiful sunny day, and turkeys trying to cross the road. I have lived in Michigan my whole life, I drive safe, I love winter, it's other people that scare me, take your time, use your headlights, and don't ride my bumper please.

Montgomery, another month has gone by so fast, your so full of life and on the move. I love you more than anything. It's amazing how you learn and catch on so fast. And to think your almost a year old already. You are still on a schedule, we modify it as you grow. You know your mama and daddy. You know nana and papa and people on moments side of the family. You see your grandpa and grandma about once. A month, and your not shy. I love you governor!!! The kids at daycare call you gummy, nana calls you montys. But mostly Montgomery. I'm looking forward to each new day, always an adventure with you.
Super bowl XLVII was at my my sisters and we decided to do a chili cook-off. 49ers~vs~Ravens. There was tons of chili and 1st place: Todd (dad) with spicy chili, 2nd place: gina with taco chili, and 3rd place: me with white chicken chili. There was also a venison chili, another white chicken, and regular chili. We played games, and watched the super bowl commercials. It was a great day downstate with family!
