December

Monty has always gotten 3 gifts from me:

🎁 Gold (want/most desired)🎁 Frankincense (worship/relationship with God) 🎁Myrrh (wear/gifts for the body).

GOLD: great value, something the child really wants!!!

FRANKINCENSE: Spirital gift, something that will help him in his "walk" with Jesus

& MYRRH: Something for the body. It's been said wiseman brought myrrh, an anointing oil, was preparing Jesus for when he died for us.

His pins represent each year on his stocking.

Deer Camp ‘86

Thanksgiving Lunch at School

——————

*If you live in Northern Michigan, the Movie will be playing (again) Monday (11-14) and Tuesday (11-15) at the The Vogue Theatre in Manistee at 7PM. Tonight was a SOLD OUT SHOW! 🦌 This movie is amazing, (Not kid friendly) Monty did make it almost to the end (but ran out quickly, in the last few minutes). It is a Horror, Comedy and Thriller. It takes place in 1986 (and they stayed true to all details) and to see local establishments is so cool. The six guys are normal deer camp men, full of dirty humor and sexual jokes (which kept me and tons of people laughing all night). Deer Camp ‘86, keeps you fully engaged the whole time. Special Effects are so well done in this movie. What a wonderful movie made in Mason/Oceana County.

October

This kid and his Halloween costume. He asked to be SypherPK, and make a costume… so I tried my hardest, asked for some help with the tee shirt, and I got it done. Best part…. HE LOVED IT!

If you have no idea who SypherPK is, that’s ok, I didn’t either, he is a YouTuber and Fortnite Skin.

Monty is now 10.5

My sister in law came to visit for the Bow Hunters Ball in Fountain, Michigan. What a fun night, great fundraiser, amazing time spent with Cara and some of my other friends that showed up.

We went trick-or-treating in Ludington to Cornerstone Church, and the Fire Department, then to a few city blocks.

Happy Halloween 🎃

Tulip Time 2022

After 2 years of Covid-19, Tulip Time in Holland, Michigan was back, my hometown, so we went to watch a parade, and see fireworks.

Tulip Time

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Welcome to the celebration & experience known as the Tulip Time Festival! Since 1929, the city of Holland, Michigan has blossomed with literally hundreds of thousands of tulips — and an equal number of tulip-lovers who attend our annual Tulip Time Festival.  And the celebration is so much more than tulips… with national entertainment acts, events & activities for all ages, breathtaking sights just off the shores of Lake Michigan and some of the largest parades in Michigan. Tulip Time is truly an experience you don’t want to miss!

Celebrating our 93rd year in 2022, Tulip Time has grown over the years to be so much more than a flower festival. Back in 1929, the City of Holland planted its first crop of 100,000 tulips and the overwhelming number of visitors over the years as the Festival took shape resulted in the addition of programs,  pageantry, costumes, parades and the popular Dutch Dancers. Each year, we strive to showcase all that Holland, Michigan has to offer.

Tulip Time welcomes ALL to our community as we celebrate Dutch Heritage, Tulips and Holland today. We embrace Diversity through educating ourselves, listening and building relationships for greater Equity and Inclusion.
