The American flag does not fly because wind moves past it. The American flag flies from the last breath of each military member who has died to protect it. A soldier doesn't fight because they hate what's in front of them----they fight because they love what is behind them.

SUGAR COOKIES
{I double the recipe and make 6 dozen}
Ingredients
• 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 ½ cups white sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ¼ cup milk
• ½ cup brown sugar
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, add all together in order above.
3. Flour counter top and roll out to use cookie cutters or roll into balls.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Remove from cookie sheet and place on newspaper to cool off before frosting or icing.
