end of April

So as April is ending..... here is what happened in the past week.

So this week... the biggest thing going on was the Royal Wedding.

I had a great Easter Sunday!!!!
It was spent at my parents.

We all opened Easter Baskets :)

We are all still kids at HEART!!!

Free Love Day is a day to promote awareness of suicide and depression, as well as to advocate a LIFESTYLE of unconditional love.

Here are the facts: depression is one of the leading conditions that lead to suicide. Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States. Statistically, for every suicide there are ELEVEN attempts. And the truth is that we don't know who wants to, will try to, or will take their life.

What's the answer to this? Love is one. Here, love means an action and decision to unconditionally practice patience, kindness, and humbleness towards people. Sharing your story with people, because we all have one. To open up so no one feels alone.

SO HERE'S THE DEAL: On April 25th, put a heart on your wrist to signify that you will wear your heart on your sleeve and observe a LIFESTYLE of love. ASK SOMEONE HOW THEY'RE DOING. TELL PEOPLE YOU LOVE THEM AND DO IT. Nobody should have to feel so bad about themselves that they take their own life, so let's give them a reason not to! Let's change the world on April 25th!

STORY: A blond-haired, blue-eyed descendant of Heaven with perfect looks, grades, and people skills. She was a person's person, and would do anything to brighten your day. On April 25, 2007 she committed suicide after battling depression; this left a family, school and community broken.... And it left the boyfriend broken, too. I wondered, and still wonder, what I could have done to make her life better.

hair today...gone tomorrow

I have been growing my hair out for awhile now, since October {I think}. and decided since it was Easter and I am super ready for spring that I would cut my hair and hilite it. I cut my bangs about a week ago and I felt like my hair was super Red in front. Yes, I know my hair is strawberry blonde, but I am so used to hilites. I also have not hilited my hair since Octoberish.... I got about 2 inches cut off the length and a few foil hilites in front. I am super Happy with how it looks!!!! It's a NEW ME... Ready for Spring!!!

weekend...

Friday Night we went with my mom and dad to Fricano's Pizza in Grand Haven.

They have the best thin crust pizza!!

Saturday Night all of us kids: gina, mike, me, joe, jared and cara had a bon fire at the house....

good times with great people!

Where is Spring?

So on Tuesday I headed up north, I had Wednesday and Thursday off.

When I got up north, I was not expecting to find that Winter had returned....

It snowed all night Tuesday and All day Wednesday.

We headed back downstate on Thursday afternoon, and had a great dinner with Cindy!!

So as Easter is approaching... I'm hoping Spring comes.

I love the snow, but it's time for Spring and Summer :)

Joe has been in my life since 2000.

He is from Bear Lake,

and as most of you know I lived in Bear Lake from 2000-2002

He has been my rock, and my best friend

We lost touch for the past year and a half....

But one day my phone rang and it was him
We know relationships are never easy,

but we are willing to work hard to make this work!

We currently are 2 1/2 hours away from each other :(

We talk, text and see each other, at least once a week!!!

(usually more!!!)

When dirk got out of school, we took dirk and millie to the grand haven breakwall/boardwalk.

It was a beautiful Wednesday!!!

It was fun! he did great and we got a couple great shoots!!!

Then I took a few of millie and got one good picture :)

Spring Break 2011

Spring Break has been a blast this year!!!

I have done so many things with the kids and without the kids.

Pop! Goes the weasel.....

Tuesday Afternoon I was headed to Northern Michigan and somewhere in Oceana County, I blew my back passenger tire (pic: bottom left). I go thru so many tires and it's so frustrating.... So I made some calls and thanks to a great person in my life, I got 4 used (pic: top right) all the same brand, and size. They are in great shape. Way better than my 4 bad tires (pic: top left). So my car got a major overhaul.....

Oil Change, Ball joint fixed, light bulb replaced, 4 ties, new valve stems, windshield washer fluid, and coolant.

I am so greatful!!!! My car is running beautifully.

There are a few more things that need to be fixed, and soon all will be done.

I did have a great trip to Northern Michigan. and I am very excited to be headed up this weekend!!!!

Wrestlemania XXVII @ BWW

April 3rd, 2011 was Wrestlemania XXVII

We went to BWW on Alpine to watch the Pay-Per-View.

We had a SUPER time with GREAT company!!!

April Fools......

So today is April 1st!!! I was wondering what to do for today, had a few ideas...... So I logged onto FACEBOOK today, and changed my status to ENGAGED. I'm currently single and not getting married. I got a congrats ;) from my little sister who knows I'm not engaged Then I felt a little bad, cause I get what your engaged? and hey you need to call me and give me a update girl but really congrats! from a very good friend, was starting to feel a little bad about posting it, but was waiting for one person {in particular} to say something.... Another friend from high school said Congrats, and then my little cousin posted something about is this an April Fools or real?? and had to quick delete, cause of the one person I was waiting to see it.

I did it in all FUN!!!

BUT............ was not expecting the text I received.
